About the website design

The website you are currently viewing was designed by Matthew "MTW" Tom-Wolverton, webmaster from 2007 to 2009. In MTW's own words:

This site is a complete redesign of the old TCNJ AAA site - I started from scratch on all aspects of the site. This project was developed during most of the summer of 2007, and completed in time for the new school year. The templating, backend, and DB interaction is done in PHP and the rest of the site is done in HTML, CSS, and some Javascript (see the Leaders page). All the Events, Minutes, Leaders, and News are kept in a MySQL DB. The site went live on Aug. 16th 2007, and continues to be TCNJ AAA's official site. A new webmaster is now maintaining the site, but I still support development on this project.

The website was then passed on to current webmistress, Siobhan "Shivvy" Sabino, webmaster from 2009 to 2010. She focused on recoding the website entirely so that it was less hard-coded and more dependent instead on its database, a task that has taken nearly a year.

Shivvy also documented the entire website for the next webmaster, along with the back end of the webmaster job that is viewed only by our eboard and ecomm. From special e-mail accounts for the job to the Twitter account and Facebook page, this has allowed AAA to become more technologically savvy.
