General Board Meeting Minutes

Hello everyone!

Thank you so much for coming last night! It was great to see both new and old faces in the PAR and we hope that you had a lot of fun, conversation and laughter as we made origami roses for our rose sale this February. Thank you for all of your hard work - the PAR is being filled with roses! Of course, if you still want to help or perfect your origami skills, we are still making them throughout the week so you can drop by the PAR and make more! Thank you again!

As always, here are the minutes (and warning, there are a lot)!

Mini Events: We're spicing things up in the PAR by holding mini events throughout this semester. The idea is still in process but keep an eye out for language classes, knitting lessons and more to come!

Shadowing: If you were ever interested in running for a position in AAA or were curious about how eboard and ecomm work we will be starting our shadowing program soon! In next week's meeting, you'll be able to sign up!

Bollywood Night: ISA is hosting a Bollywood Night event February 26th, a Friday, from 8:30 pm to 12 am. It will be held in BSC 202 E and W. There will be food, dancing, Bolllywood trivia and more so mark your calendars! We encourage you all to go! It's bound to be a fun time!

Hot Pot Night: We will be having a hot pot night on Saturday, February 27 in Hausdorffer main lounge from 6 to 8 pm. Come over and sample a traditional-style hot pot! We need hot pots and utensils so if you have any available email our activities chair at calvin.woo@tcnjaaa.org.

Committees: We are opening committees again! The following are the committees. If you're interested in joining one please email the secretary at nicole.magno@tcnjaaa.org and she will direct you to the ecomm member in charge.

• Publicity: Have you seen our flyers, the table tents and banners in the Stud? If you want to help spread the word of our events (especially with Mystique coming up!) or exercise your creativity, publicity is for you!
• Webmaster: Have you seen our website? You do not need experience in order to help! Our webmaster is willing to teach!
• Historian: Like taking pictures? Reserving memories? Our historians will be working on the scrapbook this semester and will need help to do so!
• Semiformal: Every semester we hold a semiformal in order to celebrate the end of classes. They'll need help decorating and making party favors so join if you want to help out!

Fundraising: We will be having an ongoing survey fundraiser for the rest of the semester! Please join! It will only take 10-15 minutes of your time every two days or so!

• For each survey you complete, you will earn a certain amount of points. The more points you earn the more money will make, so answer as many surveys as possible!
